- Welcome to Personal Schedule, the powerful, flexible, user friendly
- schedule manager! This program will keep track of your personal,
- group, and project schedules, reminding you when tasks are due, and
- automatically calculating due dates for recurring tasks. It features
- both interactive and batch modes. In batch mode Personal Schedule
- will scan your schedule and pop up a dialog window if it finds an
- uncompleted task which is currently due. This feature is ideal for
- use in your Autoexec.bat file. Personal Schedule easily handles
- recurring tasks, automatically calculating intervals of days, weeks,
- or months, as required. You can create any number of task files,
- either for separate environments (i.e. Work vs. Home), members of a
- group, or specific projects. Despite its name, Personal Schedule is
- also ideal for tasks shared by all members of a group, such as a
- family, or a department at work. At work, it is ideal as a project
- management program.

- Notice and disclaimer: This software is supplied as is with no
- warranty of any kind. I have worked hard writing this software, and
- to represent its operation as accurately as possible, but it is
- impossible for me to guarantee that it will always work perfectly for
- all users on all systems. Any time you test new software such as
- this, you should proceed slowly, and, among other things, carefully
- observe how the program behaves with TSR's that are loaded
- concurrently. Trial and error are the only ways to find this out.
-

- Advertisement: I have also written, and supported for several years, a
- shareware program called 'The Variable Investment Analyst', an easy to
- use investment portfolio management program. It calculates profit,
- periodic total return, cumulative total return, average annual total
- return, internal rate of return (IRR), capital gain, buy/sell prices,
- and other statistics. Creates 12 types of charts. Can import price
- history from Compuserve, and price/purchase/sale data from other
- software. It is especially useful for investments involving multiple
- cash flows, such as mutual funds, 401k plans, annuities, and
- partnerships, but also is helpful for bank accounts, CD's, stocks,
- bonds, etc. Has pull down menus, dialog boxes, and mouse support.
- Exports to Lotus, Excel, etc. It can utilize a math coprocessor, runs
- on any IBM compatible display monitor, and does *not* require a hard
- drive. It is on Compuserve, and many other BBS's and shareware disk
- libraries. It is usually named 'Varinv.zip', or 'Varin59f.zip', etc.
-
- For an evaluation copy of The Variable Investment Analyst, send $5.00
- US to the address below. As a bonus, you'll receive several
- additional shareware and freeware programs.
-
- I encourage you to upload this product to bulletin boards that accept
- such products, and to make copies available to other potential users,
- provided that you not charge more than a nominal copying fee, and that
- you include the distribution files in their original, unaltered form.
-
- I welcome your comments and suggestions! For comments about Personal
- Schedule, PC-Backup, PC-Menu, Multi-compare, or to request an
- evaluation copy of 'The Variable Investment Analyst', please send to:
